Slowly but surely
I'm plugging away at Black & Bright...I got so caught up in it I forgot to pick up Tyler from school today! It's early release day every other Wednesday. The school called and said they had Tyler at the front desk, I was thinking he was sick. Nope, it was early release and they were wondering if I was coming to get him. Wow. I felt pretty bad. Tyler didn't seem to mind. He was sitting there with about half the neighborhood kids.

That's a beautiful quilt! I love to quilt also and really need to get started on my next one...black background with bright colors (I had this picked out long before I found your blog ;)
Do you hand quilt, machine quilt, or knot the tops of your quilts? I personally like to machine piece and then hand quilt.

Pfft early release every other wednesday? Are they TRYING to drive moms insane? I think most kids get used to waiting and waiting for adults to pick them up. I know I did. It just gives them incentive to learn how to drive!
Glad I'm not the only one that sometimes gets too busy to remember minimum day :) Every other week would be even harder!
I did that once - was late picking my kid up from school. My watch had stopped and I felt so bad when the teacher said she just about took my daughter home with her!
