Brenalee's quilt is finished!!!

I never thought I'd finish this! It is my biggest quilt to date. I finished hand sewing the binding down yesterday. I am really, really happy with it, I just wish it were bigger. We moved Brena into the queen size bed, so it looks a tad small on it. But it still works. I just need to get new sheets and a bed skirt to match.

She dressed herself, can you tell?
I pieced the back. I didn't want to buy another piece of material for this quilt.

Hi Melissa,
Great job on the quilt! It looks like Brena really likes it. I forgot to tell you-about three weeks ago, Tammy put highlights in my hair! Her first time as hairdresser and my first time with hight lights. Although I said I'd never put color on, I think I like it! Anyway, I'm glad you got your tickets to come home for Christmas! Love, Carol

It looks so good! You did a great job! Is there glitter in the fabric? It's so girly. And you can tell that Brena likes it too :)

It looks like you did a fabulous job...isn't it a great feeling to actually FINISH? Is that a turning twenty block? I've never done one but I've seen them. I was supposed to finish a quilt for my sis for Christmas, but it's not going to happen. Oh well, she'll have something to look forward to in Jan.!
