Tae Kwon Do

Tyler started Tae Kwon Do back in June. He is my kid that we haven't really found "his" sport. He tried soccer and t-ball and he didn't really care for them all that much. He wanted to do something else and the sport that was currently available was Tae Kwon Do, so we gave it a try. I can't believe he actually likes it! He really, really likes it.

Awesome! Alex started TKD at the end of May and he has really taken to it also and LOVES it. He has already tested and is a yellow belt. Glad Tyler likes it, if he sticks with it, it has great individual achievements and builds so many confidences as well.

Rewarding when parents hit on the right thing, isn't it? My son was not into sports at all growing up but loved karate (no TKD here at the time) and was quite good at it. Good for you and for Tyler! Watch him blossom.

I told you he would love it. It's surprising how the martial arts can channel all of that boy energy into discipline and control.
