Some friends invited us to a little program at the community center called Romp & Stomp. It was for an hour Wednesday mornings for a couple months. I haven't done things like mommy & me with Bristol the way I did with the older kids. I spend a lot of time at the gym teaching and I don't really feel like leaving the house for anything else. Plus, let's face it - I'm an old mom! I don't have a lot in common with the young moms anymore. But, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. Bristol had so much fun and it was fun to watch her. She is very social and loves being around kids. She called our class the "bouncy" and would ask every morning if we were going to the bouncy. There were some large inflatable bounce things - a double slide, jumper, and a little house thing. I was really surprised that she was scared of them at first! She is not scared of anything and is totally outgoing and not clingy to me at all. So, it took a little while for her to be ok with those, but she loved them in the end. I think it was the loud noises of the inflating and the blower that kept them inflated that she didn't like. She really doesn't like loud noises and is very sensitive to them.
All the kids loved the bubble machine.
Pushing with Bennett.
We are sad Romp & Stomp is over!
