Pirate Museum - argghh!

Brenalee's first field trip of the year was down to St. Augustine to the Pirate Museum.  We had fun learning about pirates and seeing some pirate artifacts.  It was a VERY hot day.

 We had a picnic lunch after the museum.

 It was a fun day with Brena.  I'm so blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home mommy so I can go on field trips!

San Diego!

TJ was selected to attend a training event in San Diego.  As soon as I found out, I knew I HAD to go.  We lived in San Diego for 10 years!  It's our home, the longest we've ever lived anywhere while being married, both our babies were born there.  We haven't been back in 4 1/2 years!  Needless to say, I had my ticket booked before the NAVY had TJ's booked.  I knew he'd be working all day, but that was fine with me.  I'd knew I'd still get to see him at night.  I had fun driving around seeing friends I hadn't seen in a long time.

 My dear friend from when I worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office - Maria.  I miss that girl!  It was so fun to chat over yummy lunch and catch up on everything.

 We had a good time going to the Mormon Battalion Center in Old Town.

 It was a gorgeous San Diego evening.

 We stayed in Coronado and every morning I went for a run around the bay.

 The big ship in the distance is the USS Peleliu - TJ's first ship!  We did 2 deployments on that ship. 
Hard to believe it was over 14 years ago!

I didn't do very good at taking pictures.  I had so much fun seeing Heather, Jenn R., the Hunts, and the Thomas'.  I feel so blessed to have so many good friends in my life!  Seeing everyone was so much fun.
