Today's the day!

We got checked in this morning and hooked up right away to some pitocin.  Now we just wait!  My visiting teacher came over at 6am to sit with the kids and get them off to school.  Come to find out, because of snow, school was cancelled today!  So, she has them until Tj can go pick them up after the baby comes.

 The nurses are awesome here.  Loved this goal :)

BodyPump and Pregnant

I have done BodyPump for about 4 years.  I didn't stop just because I was pregnant.  At the end of my 3rd trimester I did go down in my weight.  I did BodyPump up until the week I delivered.  I think it made delivery easier. 
39 weeks pregnant!

Baby Shower

Some of the wives from the NAVY ROTC unit here got together and gave me a baby shower.  It was nice.  We went to Sal's and ate, then had presents.  I wasn't expecting any baby showers, so this was a nice surprise.  I took Brena with me, she had a great time!

22 weeks

This is a terrible picture.  Our good camera's battery was dead and we couldn't find the other camera, so we used my cell phone.  But, for some reason we just couldn't get a good picture.  I don't feel all that big yet, I'm still wearing some pre-pregnancy clothes, but I sure can see how my face is puffy and fat!  I have also started having a little bit of swelling in my ankles already - ugh.

19 weeks and 2 days...

16 weeks

This poor baby is not getting nearly the attention the first two did!  I finally did manage to get another photo.  I am sad my gym clothes don't look as cute on me as they once did, but it's all for a good cause, I keep telling myself that!  Everything is measuring right on track.  My due date is still 3-3-13, not that that means a thing for me since I can't go into labor on my own.  Maybe the 3rd times a charm??  I have thoroughly enjoyed feeling this baby start kicking and moving all over.  I love how excited the kids are and how they like to talk to the baby and pat my tummy.  I can't wait for them to finally be able to feel the baby kicking.

How did that happen??!!

No one will be as shocked as we were!  I can hardly believe we are going to have another baby.  Yes, it's true.  March 3, 2013, is the due date.  Tj came home June 4!  We found out right after we came home from our Germany trip.  The kids weren't home yet and I took a couple of tests.  The dollar test was negative and I thought that it was wrong, so we bought a more expensive one and took it just a few hours after the dollar test - and yep - we got a positive.  Moving was soooo hard for me.  I think it must have had something to do with the hormones.  I cried all the time, I slept all the time, and I felt sick all the time.  I'm sure the kids wondered what in the world was wrong with me.  We had to wait for what seemed like forever to be able to go to the doctor.  We had to wait for insurance to get switched over, wait for a referral to an OB (which seems crazy that I had to do that!), and then wait for an available appointment with the OB.  FINALLY we got to go to the doctor on August 22.  When you find out your pregnant on June 22, having to wait until August 21, to go to the doctor seems like a lifetime!  We told the kids the night of August 23.  We video taped it and I'm so glad we did!  Their reactions were just priceless!  We had ultrasound pictures of the baby with one saying "hi Tyler" and the other "hi Brenalee."  We gave them those pictures and asked if they knew what it was.  At first they thought it was themselves.  We said no, guess again.  Then they got all excited and said "Aunt Steph is having a baby!!!"  Ummmm, no - that would be bad seeing as how she's not married quite yet!  Finally we just had to tell them it was their baby brother or sister.  Brenalee was so excited - she was jumping up and down, squealing.  It was great.  Tyler just sat there and told us we were making this up.  He honestly didn't believe us until the next day! 

Then, Friday August 24, we told my parents.  It was their 40th wedding anniversary (the Ruby anniversary) so Steph made red velvet cupcakes with ruby rings on top - and a plastic baby in the middle!  We all were on Skype and they bit into their cupcakes and were very surprised to see a baby there!  They knew it was me since Kim isn't able to have any more kids and I guess they knew it wasn't Steph.  It was so much fun.   Except when my dad said "Tj did you count the days on that due date???!!!"  Uhhh, thanks dad!  Yes, we know it happened the day Tj came home!

So, now with everyone knowing and being excited, seeing my baby opening and closing it's little mouth, kicking and moving on the ultrasound, how can I not be excited??  The fear is gone, and I just feel happy and I can't wait to meet this special little person!

 12 weeks - August 19, 2012, I was, as usual, having a hard time keeping my eyes open for the camera!  I think Tj took this picture 20 times and this was the best I could do...I get it from my mom!  Not a lot of change, but things do feel quite a bit tighter around my waist now!
